First Day

Kagami stood in the empty courtyard, looking around slightly warily. This was her new school. Aw man, it was huge! She was gonna get lost on her FIRST DAY? Not cool. She sighed and sat on one of the benches with her head resting in her palms.

"Ok, Kagami, calm down...What have you got first?" She asked herself as she fumbled around in her shirt pocket for her timetable. "Uhm...Alright, English.." She nodded and stood up then slapped a hand to her forehead. "Yeah, smart move, you know what class but you dont know WHERE THE CLASS IS!" She growled, sighing again and sitting right back down. Not good for a first day.

She finally got up and headed for the first flight of stairs she could find. She climbed up them and walked along the corridor, looking from left to right to try and find her class. In her disorientation, she bumped right into someone and fell flat on her ass. "Owww..." She muttered, shaking her head. She gasped a little, getting up and bowing before she could even see who they were. "I'm sorry!"

She shook her head and smoothed down her shirt, looking to the side to try and avoid eye contact so it would be slightly less embarassing. Ok, lets recap. So, late on the first day, lost within the first hour and nearly knocking over another student. Great, just great. "N-No, it was my fault. I shouldve payed more attention to where i was walking,"

She sighed herself and picked up her bag, glancing back at the boy over her shoulder. Were all the people at the school like that? Maybe she should quieten down a little if so. She looked back down at the ground, then at the corridor in front of her before checking her timetable. According to the room number, her class should be...She looked around a little..Ah, there it was! She sighed again in relief and knocked on the door.

Zero sat down in his class and pulled his sunglasses out of his face and placed them above his forehead and stretched his arms and legs whilst sitting down and looked around the classroom.

Kagami was waved in by the teacher and told to stand at the front of the class. "Everyone! This is Kagami Hiragi! She's a transfer student from Tokyo and she'll be in this class from now on. I want you all to make her feel welcome!" The teacher ordered, which was answered by a chorus of 'Yes Ma'am!'. Kagami looked down yet again, her cheeks flushing badly. With so many people staring at her, it made her nervous. She didnt look scruffy, did she? Did her hair look ok? She wanted to make a good first impression.

Kagami was directed to a seat and she sat down, trying not to notice all of the curious stares she got from fellow pupils. One boy sat next to Hymn tilted his head. "Hmm...Not bad, not bad at all...Wonder what group she'll fall into...Heh, hope its mine," Kagami heard him and let out a pathetic whimper, resting her head on the desk.

"Eh heh, sorry bout that," The boy said. "I'm Takano. I have a habit of striking up conversation. Tis what i do," He grinned. "You're both new, right? Heh, its not often we get two outsiders in one day," He looked across at Kagami. "Hard to tell how she'll turn out though...Bit worried that Fang will get to her first,"

"If it doesn't concern me..Doesn't matter.." he muttered "And Im Hymn" he introduced himself and put his head back down.

"Hymn..Unusual," He said, then noticed his slumped nature and said nothing more. He turned back to the board and listened to the teacher. The lesson went by without a hitch for a few minutes..Until someone decided to light up a cigarette. The teacher turned around and saw them and immediately flew off the handle. "WHAT do you think youre doing!?" Kagami didnt even look up, just curled up even more.

Hymn looked up from his seat and looked around and saw the person lighting a cigarette. Honestly he thought to himself who would do something like that, he sighed.

The boy just smirked and took another drag. Obviously a Fang member, that was certain from the moment he lit it up. He didnt even need to be told, he just got up and walked out before the teacher told him to get out anyway. This school was definitely different, and not as perfect as people thought it was. Kagami looked back at Hymn. Its that boy.. She thought to herself and then, realising she was staring, looked back round.

Hymn watched as the boy left the room and thought to himself that the kid must be the dumbest kid hes ever seen or one of the most gutsy, either way he didn't like him.

"I dont like this," Kagami whispered to herself, looking at the door which was now closed again "I dont like this at all..." She looked down at her work. She was finished, and it was nearly time for class to finish since she'd arrived so late. As soon as the bell went, she would pick up her stuff and get as far away from that class as she could. She only hoped her next one would be slightly better. She looked at her schedule. PE...Probably not any better then.
